Access to IVLV

By train

From central station (Hauptbahnhof) or central station north (Hauptbahnhof-Nord) you take the tramline number 17 to "Amalienburgstraße" (it leaves every 10 minutes/it takes 18 minutes from central station to Amalienburgstraße). You get off at "Amalienburgstr.", which is the last stop. Cross the street at the traffic light and take a right to "Schragenhofstr.". You walk 5 minutes.

By car

» Freeway A 8 from Stuttgart to Munich
The freeway ends directly at Munich-West. If you drive straight on, you will get to "Verdistraße". Keep going straight on "Verdistr.", which will turn into "Amalienburgstr.". You make a left in front of the tram stop "Amalienburgstr."(taxi, bus-stop, kiosk) into "Schragenhofstr.". Just in case you miss the turn: the next possibility to turn around is at "Botanischer Garten" (botanic garden).

» Freeway A 9 from Nürnberg to Munich
At the freeway crossing München-Nord keep direction Stuttgart, A 92/A99. Take the exit No. 10 "Ludwigsfeld/Karlsfeld" and turn left at the next traffic light for the direction München. You are now on the street called "Dachauer Str.", which you have to follow. But keep attention, the “Dachauer Str.” turns right at the fourth traffic light (district sign "Moosach"). Keep going straight on and when you reach the underpass turn right at the traffic light into the "Bauberger Str." As the "Bauberger Str." turns strong left, you have to turn right to the Schragenhofstr.

» Freeway A 95 from Garmisch to Munich
Take the exit München Kreuzhof, straight ahead and then turn left direction A8/A96 to the "Fürstenrieder Str.". Along the "Fürstenrieder Str." follow always the traffic signs freeway Stuttgart. You pass a train crossing and after the "Romanplatz", (where you have to turn left) the Nymphenburg Castle and the Botanic Garden. At the last tram stop "Amalienburgstr." turn right into "Schragenhofstr.".

» Freeway A 8 from Salzburg to Munich
At the freeway crossing Brunnthal keep direction Stuttgart A 99. Drive past the freeway crossings München-Ost, München-Nord und München- Feldmoching and get off the freeway at exit No. 10 "Ludwigsfeld/Karlsfeld". Go on as A 9.

» Freeway A 96 form Lindau to Munich
At the freeway crossing München-Süd-West keep direction Stuttgart A 99. Take the exit Nr. 10 "Ludwigsfeld/Karlsfeld". Go on as A 9.

By plane

From Munich airport you can get to Munich by taxi (about 50 €) or "S-Bahn" (train/it takes 45 minutes from airport to central station). If you want to go by S-Bahn, take S 8/ S 1 to central station (Hauptbahnhof). From there you can take the tram (look description "by train").
